Meet Katie

Katie is an advocate for her clients and the community causes for which she is passionate. Her tenacity and determination make her a strong ally. Not believing problems exist without solutions, Katie applies her legal talents to remove obstacles to growth and advance our client's positions to expand existing markets and create new opportunities. "Katie has invested many of her own hours to learn our business and visit our stores to develop relationships at the local level. She is very responsive and always willing to do the best thing for the client even if it doesn't result in additional work for her or her firm," head of Human Resources for one of the nation's largest independent distributors of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts. "Katie demonstrates an acute awareness of the environment in which we operate. This provides for quick and timely responses to the complex issues that we encounter. She is able to suggest solutions that save time and money," County Administrator for Mississippi's sixth largest county. Katie is married to Stephen Snell, and they have four children.

Katie is a founding partner of S2 Law where she specializes in meeting the legal needs of companies that are seeking to grow their existing business or develop new business. She also assists in large-scale litigation throughout the United States.

Given an opportunity to expand her scope and promote her community, Katie left her previous firm to serve a term as the Board Attorney for the Madison County Board of Supervisors (2016-2020). In that role, she protected the county's interest and assisted with economic development opportunities that directly impacted her community. Katie also opened Katie Bryant Snell PLLC, where she represented clients in the public and private sector, including local governments, disaster recovery project management companies, products manufactuers, venture capitalist, and small businesses.

Katie began her legal career at one of the largest firms in the Southeast specializing in products liability and civil rights defense. She used her knowledge of the corrections industry to lend counsel and assistance to public officials and community leaders to advance historical criminal justice reform in the United States.
